Nutra-Life Enzogenol™ is a new, broad-spectrum Pine Bark Extract antioxidant with powerful free radical scavenging and quenching activity.
It provides improved protection for the cells against the harmful effects of free radicals provided by the body’s metabolic processes and from the environment.
This new highly-active antioxidant contains improved levels of important proanthocyanidins and also incorporates other significant antioxidants that are lost in conventional processing techniques which use organic solvents.
Derived from the bark of the New Zealand pine Pinus radiata, also known as the Monterey Pine, Enzogenol™ was developed in New Zealand by a multi-disciplined team at the University of Canterbury. The team examined the feasibility of developing new antioxidant compounds from natural sources.

Recommended Use:
Adults:
The optimum dosage for a healthy fit adult who eats a balanced diet, is 50-150mg (1 - 3 capsules) per day to confer the alpha effects for added protection against the effects of ageing.
In some other situations, a dosage of 200 to 600mg per day may be required to provide the beta effects response.
Note: Daily intake should be increased slowly over one to two weeks, to higher levels.
Children:
Six to Twelve years: Take one capsule daily with food or as directed.
Two to Six years: Take one capsule sprinkled on food up to twice a day.
In all cases, Enzogenol™ should be taken with meals and a full glass of water.
Precautions / Contra-indications:
Enzogenol™ is well-tolerated, even at high doses. However, if taken on an empty stomach some gastric irritation may result.
